MARGOSUKO PLANTATION TOURISM



This tourist object gives the visitors a special and beautiful panorama of cocoa coffee or rubber plantation. This object is located on the western slope of Mount Semeru the highest mountain in Java. at Dampit Sub District ( 60 kms away to the southeast from Malang ) founded in 1942 before the independence of Indonesia was proclaimed. WONOSARI TEA PLANTATION TOURIST



This tourist object gives a special and peaceful impression, beautiful panorama of tea plantation. This plantation is situated at the area on the slope of Lawang Sub District. In this object, the visitors can watch the Mount Arjuna, belonging to prossesing of tea, from the leaves to the tea ready to drink. The location is reachable, 30 kms away to the north from Malang.

People are taken around the village to meet their families by riding a dancing horse. Nowadays, dancing horse art is used not only for feasts but also for carnivals and festivals. In other words, dancing horse art has become a tourist attraction

The Lahbako dance


The Lahbako dance is one of the unique traditional dances that describes the farmer’s process of planting and cultivating tobacco. Tobacco is one of the main export commodities of Jember besides coffee, rubber, terpentin and cocoa. Jember is not only famous for tobacco, but is also rich with its own unique traditional culture and the famous Lahbako dance. It is a typical welcome dance.

Gunung Gambir Tea Plantation, l


Gunung Gambir Tea Plantation, located at 48 km northeast of Jember, is a site remaining from the Dutch period. At 900 m above sea level, the Argopuro slope area has great potential for European exported beer tea. Tourists can see tea trees that were planted in 1918, 1923,and 1927 and can watch beer tea processing from picking to packaging. All visitors can all have a taste of tea and a walk through the plantation in the morning. To give more services, the company provides accommodation, tennis courts and a children’s swimming pool. Visitors can travel for 15 minutes from downtown Jember to reach Gunung Gambir Tea Plantation by public transportation, rental car or tax
