The Lahbako dance
The Lahbako dance is one of the unique traditional dances that describes the farmer’s process of planting and cultivating tobacco. Tobacco is one of the main export commodities of Jember besides coffee, rubber, terpentin and cocoa. Jember is not only famous for tobacco, but is also rich with its own unique traditional culture and the famous Lahbako dance. It is a typical welcome dance.
